CABINS & ACCOMMODATION
Welcome to Tempelgården, the nature, the beautiful view and the peace! Here is some information about what applies and how it works if you want to spend the night at Tempelgården. ​
Bed linen & bath towels: Tempelgården has 7 old-fashioned simple cottages in hostel standard, which means that bed linen and towels are not included. If you do not want to bring your own, you can rent them from Tempelgården. A set contains the following: duvet cover, sheets, pillowcases, bath towel and towel and costs 175 SEK per person.
Cleaning: The hostel standard also means that you clean the cottage after yourself. It is possible to buy cleaning if you are not able to clean yourself. The prices for cleaning vary by cottage and are listed under each cottage below. The same applies to breakfast, it is not included in the price of the cottage rental.
Breakfast: It is possible to buy breakfast. Between 8:00-10:00 every morning, a breakfast buffet of organic ingredients is served, all for our environment and your health. There are options for vegetarians and vegans. The breakfast buffet is booked and paid for at the latest upon arrival. Tell us if you have an allergy when you book breakfast. The price is 120 SEK / person. Under 12 years 70 SEK. Under 3 years 40 SEK. ​
Toilet, Bathroom & Kitchen: The cottages are old-fashioned and therefore lack a toilet and kitchen. Except for the cottage Kolla Pella Stöva which has both a toilet and a small kitchen. The cottage Loftstugan has a small kitchen. On the area we have a Service House with 3 bathrooms containing a shower and toilet. In the Service House there is also a small kitchen with a refrigerator, sink, and stove with oven. There you will also find cleaning equipment that can be used to clean the cottages. At the bottom of this page there is more information and pictures from the Service House.
​Food & Restaurants: Most people who come to us usually have dinner at one of the fine restaurants on the island. Between 11:00 -17:00 our Café is open where you will also find the reception. The Café serves ice cream, pastries and sandwiches. There is also a COOP store with generous opening hours during the summer. We also have a number of charcoal grills to borrow if you wish to grill. If you do not bring your own charcoal, charcoal is available for purchase at the COOP on the island.

​Car & Parking: We want to protect the unique environment at Tempelgården and therefore do not want car traffic in the area. Of course you can drive your car in to pack and unpack your bags. You can park for free right outside the entrance to the property. There is also an electric car charger (11kW), cost depending on the spot price on the electricity market. Minimum price 30 SEK/hour. NOTE! bring your own charging cable.
Activities, Play & Games: As a cottage guest with us, you have free access to the area and of course do not pay admission to the art gallery (Templet). The outdoor areas in the property are large for children to play around.
There are 2 frisbee baskets, badminton nets and outdoor toys to borrow that amuse both young and old. ​
Bicycle rental: We currently have a few adult bicycles and junior bicycles to rent to our guests. The price is 150 SEK for
1 day, 2 days 250 SEK, 3 days 350 SEK etc. NOTE. The bikes must be pre-booked to be guaranteed a bike.

Check-in & Check-out: Check-in from 15:00, check-out time 11:00. We recommend that you book a time on the ferry both to and from Visingsö if you are coming by car. You can reach the booking at Tel: 036-103770 and timetable & prices can be found on their website ( click here ). ​
Cancellation: If cancelled later than 24 hours before arrival, the full price will be charged. Free cancellation 24 hours before arrival (at 15:00) applies to 1-2 cottages. If cancelling 3-4 cottages, it applies 3 days before arrival. Cancellations of 5-7 cottages are subject to a 7-day cancellation fee before arrival. With us you can use a debit or credit card. ​
Dogs at Tempelgården: At Tempelgården we welcome dogs that are clean, calm and like other dogs and people.
Cleaning is extra careful afterwards because we want everyone to be able to live at Tempelgården. If you are unable or unwilling to clean up after yourself, there is the option to purchase cleaning. We charge double the cleaning fee when staying with animals. ​
Please note: Smoking in the cottages and in the area is prohibited. There is a designated smoking area by the parking lot.

KOLLA-PELLA
​
Big four bed cabin with a large bathroom equipped with shower and a washing machine. The bedroom have a standard double bed, 160 cm wide, as well as a 90cm wide bunk bed. There is pillows and quilts for each bed, but please notice that bedlinen is not included by default. The cabin have a veranda with chairs and table. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, electric hobs, kitchenware such as plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses & cups, coffee maker, water boiler and microwave oven. (Please observe no ordinary oven is present). Outside the cabin you will find outdoor furniture.

KÄRLEKEN
A big cabin with two bedrooms. In one of the two bedrooms there is a double bed that is 140cm wide, and one single bed that is 105cm wide. In the other room there is two beds that are 90cm wide and a children's bed 130 x 80 cm. There is pillows and quilts for each bed, but please notice that bedlinen is not included by default. There is also a small conservatory with chairs and a table. Bathroom, showers and kitchen can be found in the adjacent service house.
Outside the cabin is a larger porch with outdoor furniture for the cabin guests.

LOFTSTUGAN
A big six bed cabin in two floors with a simple pantry and living room with sofa. Four ordinary single beds on the second floor and a 140 cm wide double bed on the first floor. There is pillows and quilts for each bed, but please notice that bedlinen is not included by default. Please observe that the height of the ceiling on the first floor is about 180cm. The pantry is equipped with refrigerator, a small stove with electric hobs, coffee maker, water boiler, microwave oven, kitchenware, glasses & cutlery. Bathroom, showers and kitchen can be found in the adjacent service house. There is outdoor furniture available for the cabin guests.

KAPELLSTUGAN
A small white cabin for two people with two 105 cm wide single beds. A small table and two chairs, one glass cabinet for storage. A small sofa which can be opened and used for storage. There is pillows and quilts for the bed, but please notice that bedlinen is not included by default. Bathroom, showers and kitchen can be found in the nearby service house. There is outdoor furniture available for the cabin guests.

LOTUSSTUGAN

STALLET
Cabin with two single beds, a small table with two chairs.

SERVICEHUSET (THE SERVICE HOUSE)
In the nearby service house (servicehuset in Swedish) you can find bathrooms with toilet and showers, changing table and a kitchen with refrigerator, electric hobs & oven, coffee maker, water boiler, microwave oven, kitchenware such as, glasses, plates, cutlery and pans & pots.
There is outdoor furniture available outside for the cabin guests.
